Warranty statement
This product is manufactured, distributed or sold by Biwin Semiconductor (HK) Company Limited, official licensee for this product, which is solely responsible for the product. Please contact Biwin Semiconductor (HK) Company Limited for questions/comments, warranty, support, or service related to this product. This warranty is solely and entirely applicable to only the BIWIN products mentioned in Article 1 below (hereinafter referred to as “Products”), and supersedes all other warranties and representations, whether oral or written, between you and BIWIN.
1. Applicable products and terms of warranty
The SSD terms are based on the TBW (Terabytes Written) or Warranty period.
The product’s eligibility for limited warranty is determined if the unit is within warranty period from the date of purchase and without exceeding the TBW (Terabytes Written) expressed in the table below.
In another words, if the unit is found beyond its Warranty period, or the TBW exceeds what’s in the chart below, the unit is no longer being covered under this limited warranty.
1.1 SSDs: BIWIN SSD Products are covered by a three-year or five-year limited warranty commencing from the purchase date based on specific products.
1.2 SSDs: BIWIN SSD Products are covered by a TBW (Terabytes Written) limited warranty commencing from first use and based on specific products as per chart below.

* Note: In the event a law or regulation of a particular country/region requires a warranty with specific terms for products, BIWIN shall, in such country/region, provide warranty services to those local consumers in accordance with such law or regulation.
2. Warranty service
2.1 Subject to the terms and conditions hereunder, BIWIN provides, without any charges or fees, replacement, compensation, or repair services to our customers for defective Products within the applicable warranty term (hereinafter referred to as “Warranty Service”).
The warranty term commences from:
– The original purchase day. If a Warranty Service is needed, proof of purchase will be required, which proves the purchase day and where it was purchased (such as an invoice).
– If the original purchase day cannot be determined, the commencement of the warranty term will be determined by the manufacturing date, in accordance with the product serial number.
BIWIN reserves the right to decide whether to repair, replace or credit. If credit is provided instead of replacement, it will not exceed the original purchase value of the product.
2.2 For any assistance, your first step should always be to contact your local dealer or reseller where the purchase was made.
2.3 Please note:
(1) BIWIN may replace the defective Product with a spare product from stock as in lieu of repairing the Product, and after replacement, BIWIN may at its sole option dispose of defective Products. In this case, the repaired Products you receive may not be the original Product(s) you sent for Warranty Service; the original Product will not be returned to you.
(2) In the event production of the Product has been discontinued or factory repair service is no longer provided, BIWIN will, at its sole discretion, offer a substitute Product (of equivalent level or class) or compensation (limited to amount on your proof of purchase).
3. Scope of warranty and disclaimer
3.1 This Warranty is void when following any single condition occurs including but not limited to:
(a) Physical damage: including but not limited to visible damage in product’s appearances, water damage or damage caused by any inappropriate use of the product.
(b) Malfunctions or damage caused by force majeure such as natural disaster.
(c) Product has been repaired or taken apart by user, unauthorized technicians, alteration, or others.
(d) Warranty label is altered, damaged or missing.
(e) Product serial number does not match BIWIN’s records or is difficult to ascertain.
4. Exception of warranty
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Biwin Semiconductor (HK) Company Limited , Lenovo PC (HK) Limited, Lenovo Group Limited and their affiliate entities specifically disclaim any and all statutory or implied warranties, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, all warranties against hidden or latent defects, and Biwin Semiconductor (HK) Company Limited, Lenovo PC (HK) Limited, Lenovo Group Limited and their affiliate entities do not warrant that the operation of any products or software covered under this limited warranty will meet your requirements, work in combination with any hardware or software applications or third party services, be uninterrupted, error-free, or without risk to, or loss of, any information, data, software or applications contained therein, or that defects in the products or software will be corrected. Where such statutory or implied warranties cannot lawfully be disclaimed, then to the extent permitted by law, all such warranties shall be limited in duration to the duration of the express limited warranty contained herein and the remedies of repair, replacement, or refund as determined by Biwin Semiconductor (HK) Company Limited in its sole discretion shall be the exclusive remedy of the consumer. No oral or written representations made by Biwin Semiconductor (HK) Company Limited, Lenovo PC (HK) Limited, Lenovo Group Limited and their affiliate entities or any seller, reseller or distributor of the products, including employees and agents thereof, shall create any additional warranty obligations, increase the scope, or otherwise modify in any manner the terms of this limited warranty.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Biwin Semiconductor (HK) Company Limited, Lenovo PC (HK) Limited, Lenovo Group Limited and their affiliate entities specifically disclaim any and all liability, whether in contract, tort or under other legal theory (including negligence), for damages in excess of the purchase price of the products, or for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages of any kind, or loss of revenue or profits; loss of business; business interruption; loss of opportunity; loss of goodwill; loss of reputation; loss of, damage to, or corruption of information, data, software or applications (including any costs associated with recovering, programming, or reproducing any information, data, software or applications stored on or used with products, or any failure to maintain the confidentiality of any information or data stored on the products); or other financial loss arising out of or in connection with the ability or inability to use the products or services provided under this limited warranty. By making a claim under this limited warranty you acknowledge that you understand the foregoing.
Some states or jurisdictions do not allow the limitation or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, or the exclusion or limitation on the length of an implied warranty, or the limitation or exclusion of damages for personal injuries caused by negligence, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by state or jurisdiction.
5. No other warranties
BIWIN makes no other warranties, including any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, whether expressly or implied per the Products. In the event that any law or regulation of a particular country/region prohibits the exclusion of implied warranty (i.e. warranty of merchantability and fitness), the terms of BIWIN’s implied warranty shall be subject to such laws/regulations or the Warranty term hereunder, whichever is shorter.
6. Governing law
6.1 These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which BIWIN operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
6.2 By purchasing and using BIWIN products, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined herein.
